چکیده

The correlation of agromorphological traits can be useful for breeders in the selection plant genotypes. In this study, rosette period (days), days maturity, height (cm), 1000-seed weight (g), and seed yield (kg ha–1) characteristics 42 different Camelina genotypes that grown Ankara (middle Anatolia) Şanlıurfa (southeastern Anatolia), their correlations with each other, were investigated. accessions showed results depending on location terms studied characters both locations under rainfed conditions. highest was obtained from PI 311735 accession (3151.8 kg 650142 (3056.0 Şanlıurfa. While between 152.3 132.3 days, 274 247 103.8 59.5 cm, 1.50 0.84 g, while there 108.8 88.8 202.1 180.1 115.4 59.2 1.40 0.50 Şanlıurfa, respectively. Results significant differences among all parameters. Correlation analysis mentioned parameters also performed. Antinutritive Compounds in Twelve Camelina sativa Genotypes

Camelina sativa is an oilseed crop becoming important in North America and Europe for biodiesel production. The use of Camelina flours in animal diet may be limited by antinutritive compounds. The content of glucosinolates, phytic acid, sinapine and condensed tannins was evaluated in twelve accessions of Camelina sativa. All compounds showed significant differences among genotypes. Only the con...

Effect of planting date on growth, seed yield and oil quality of camelina (Camelina sativa L. Crantz)

Camelina is one of the plants that it seed yield is highly dependent on planting date. This experiment was conducted using randomized complete blocks design with three replications in research farm of Fasa Branch, Islamic Azad University, Fasa, Iran in 2018 and 2019 cropping seasons. Planting dates at six levels; November 1, 11, 21 (autumn sowing) and February 20, March 1 and 11 (winter sowing)...

Pollination of two oil-producing plant species: Camelina (Camelina sativa L. Crantz) and pennycress (Thlaspi arvense L.) double-cropping in Germany

Camelina and pennycress are two annual oil-producing plant species that have recently gained attention as biofuel feedstock crops. Prior to commercial production, information on their breeding and pollination system is essential to ensure sustainable management. We conducted pollination experiments and observed flower visitors in an experimental double-cropping system in southern Germany. We fo...

Effect of Salinity Tension and Foliar Application of Nano-Oxide on Some of the Physiological Chracteristics of Rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) and Camelina (Camelina sativa L.)

In order to investigate the effect of salinity tension and zinc nano oxide on physiological parameters of Rapeseed and Camelina, a factorial experiment was conducted based on a completely randomized design with three replications in the greenhouse conditions of Department of Biology of Urmia University in 2012-13. The factor of zinc nano oxide was investigated at three levels of zero,  25 and 1...
